Celebrating Talent and Teamwork with the Rising Generations

On November 11th, 2024, our team in Simpsonville, SC became the stage for an exciting hands-on competition, showcasing the talent and determination of future heavy equipment diesel mechanics. This event brought together six schools and celebrated teamwork, learning, and the exceptional skills of young individuals eager to make their mark in the industry.
A Competition of Skills and Camaraderie
The event featured five competency testing areas, each designed to replicate the real-world tasks performed daily by heavy equipment diesel mechanics. Students faced challenges that tested their knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on expertise. These areas included:
- Spark Plug Diagnostics
- Hydraulic Fluid Testing
- Coolant System Troubleshooting
- Electrical Circuit Analysis
- Blue Board Diagnostic
More than just a competition, the event fostered camaraderie and teamwork. Team Dobbs worked closely with participants, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and mutual respect. The energy was contagious as students collaborated, shared strategies, and cheered each other on.

We also celebrate Clover High School for securing second place with their outstanding performance.
